Care manager currently needed to be a member of the Physical Disabilities team where they will undertake the full range of cases dealt with by the department. You will be expected to undertake care management and social work arising out of the council’s function under relevant legislation and guidance.

You must have a Social Work qualification and registration with the General Social Care Council. You must have knowledge of Statutory Social Work legislation including the NHS and Community Care Act. You must also have knowledge of the issues relating to the educational, economic, emotional and physical social well being of people with Physical Disabilities.
