Social Worker required to deliver a high quality service to children in our care within our role of corporate parent and aimed ensuring best outcomes for children and young people. A CQSW/CSS/DipSW is essential as is registration with the GSCC. You must have experience of direct work with children in a statutory setting. You should also have experience of work with carers, statutory and voluntary agencies and other professionals. You should have knowledge and understanding of the legislative framework of ‘Children’s Service’ duties relating to children, particularly the Children Act 1989 and 2004. You should also have knowledge of other Statutory Social Work legislation and other key policies including ‘Every child matters’.
