Qualified Social Worker required to work in a Fostering Recruitment Team in the Haringey area. You will be required to undertake all tasks and duties in accordance with service standards and ensure the achievement of key national and departmental performance indicators. You will recruit, assess and train a wide range of foster carers appropriate to the needs of the council's diverse looked after population. You will comply with the requirement to maintain confidentiality of information at all times, including details of service users, residents, clients, suppliers, contractors, staff and finances. You will achieve the required standard of competence to effectively use industry standard applications such as Microsoft Office as well as social care record systems.

CQSW/DipSW is essential as well as registration with the GSCC. You must also have two year's relevant Social Work experience. You must have knowledge of Children’s Act 1989, the Foster Placements Regulations 91, The National Fostering Standards and Code of Practice, the National Minimum Standards for Fostering and Regulations 2001 and other relevant practice standards.
