JOB INFORMATION: Working as part of a team in family support and intervention. Centrally based Qualified social worker with specific responsibility for the recruitment, training, assessment and support of adoptive families, family finding for children in need of adoptive placements and counselling of adults in relation to adoption.

Working hours are Monday to Friday 9.00am-5.00pm

A Qualified Social Worker is required to work in the private fostering team.  You will be required to assess the child and the suitability of private foster carers,to monitor supervise, advise, support and train the private foster carers appropriately to the needs of the privately fostered child.

Context and Purpose of Job:

You must have experience of working within multidisciplinary forums and chairing multidisciplinary meetings.
